Dayna Fisk-Williams spent 21 years working as an elementary school teacher on US military bases in Asia and Europe.  After teaching for a total of 27 years both in Arizona and overseas she and her husband returned to the Southwest and settled in the Chama Valley and Santa FE. Dayna has always loved working with design and as a craftsperson.  She has a small sewing business and has enjoyed many different crafts over the years.  Her passion now is weaving.  She loves the churro wool and spending hours in the weaving room at Tierra Wools creating rugs, blankets and table runners.  Dayna enjoys hiking, kayaking, and cross-country skiing when she’s not weaving.
